MONSIEUR MONDE VANISHES

Lionel Monde had a wife, a family and a successful business in Paris. On the morning of his 48th birthday, he left home, boarded a train, and disappeared into thin air - not knowing where he was going or what he was looking for. He only knew he had to get away. Monsieur Monde lands on the French Riviera, keeping company with an underworld of pimps and prostitutes, drunks and thieves. He manages to make himself feel right at home, at least for a while.
