Suzanne Venturi, a policewoman laid-off on suspicion of embezzlement, brings her brother-in-law's camper van back to Anduze after a few days' vacation on the road to get her mind off things.
At the gas station where she's parked, radio and TV are broadcasting the breaking news: computer scientist and former hacker Grégoire Guérin has allegedly embezzled 100M euros from the multinational company he works for. And his car has just been spotted at the gas pumps! Moments later, Suzanne discovers Grégoire on the roof of her car, hoping to escape the police.
Suzanne is stunned to realize that the photo taken by a radar camera has made the front page of the news channels and that she is now considered Guérin's accomplice. Suzanne is furious, but she has no choice but to team up with this neurotic computer expert. He might even be able to exonerate her in the case she's been implicated in, and in which she, like Guérin, proclaims her innocence.
And so our two fugitives have to make their way back to Montpellier while escaping the police. Along the way, by helping each other, these two great loners may not only succeed in proving their innocence, but also in opening up to others...
