Following her gut instincts, as usual, she makes a bad slip-up in a key operation. She ruins months of hard work to flush out a serial killer nicknamed Shakespeare, and gets relegated to desk duty. When a 15-year-old girl vanishes, everyone but Amélia writes her off as a runaway. The young detective again listens to her gut feeling and starts investigating the disappearance on the sly. But Amélia's not the only one poking around. She keeps bumping into Daniel Hansen, a disgraced profiler idolized by her mother. A former media-darling who's also been sidelined for making an inexcusable misstep. Amélia and Daniel do their best to shake one another, before finally teaming up to save the girl from a serial killer who is somehow linked to the profiler's troubled past.
