Ainhoa, the lady mayor's young daughter, is brutally murdered in a small village whose economy depends on greenhouse agriculture. The new and rather taciturn Chief of the Judicial Police, Hector, is put in charge of the investigation. The crime was perpetrated by the mind of a true psychopath. Hector's objective is to unmask the culprit in a village full of suspects, a coastal place that is a melting pot of cultures gripped by racial tensions. The murder of Ainhoa causes a great commotion and becomes the spark that disrupts the tense calm in which the local inhabitants had managed to coexist.
