ON THE EDGE OF DAYS

Julie, a youngish forty, lives alone with her six-year-old son. The best part of her time is taken up by her job. One day, on a business trip, she meets Claude, the married father of two. They are devoured by a passion that is all the wilder for occurring later in their lives. After just a few weeks, they abandon everything to live together. Moving far away from Paris, they start over again in a new life and a new house. But just two short months after settling into their new home, Claude has a terrible accident and falls into a deep coma, obliterating their new adventure together.
