Time seems to have stood still around the "Chateau des Oliviers". The mansion is situated between the Rhone and the Ventoux valleys, it nestles in a peaceful olive grove besides vineyards caressed by the sun and engulfed in the all-pervasive drone of the cicadas ; the mistral wind howls down the chimney and the folk-writer Mistral features prominently on the library shelves. From time immemorial the Laborie de Sauveterre family have lived on this property, tending to the vine and the olive trees. Suddenly 35 years ago tragedy struck. That summer like every summer, Estelle rejoices at the thought of opening up the old house for the family to celebrate the sunny season But this year, she is determined to restore the mansion to its former glory. She wants the house to be open all year and would like to grow the wine which was formerly the Laborie's greatest pride. Little does she know that the property has been programmed for destruction.
