DAXING: THE BIGGEST AIRPORT IN THE WORLD

September 25, 2019: China inaugurates the Daxing International Airport. This huge copper-roofed star covers an area of 700,000 m2, the equivalent of 98 soccer fields. The new building - inspired by a soap bubble and based on advanced mathematical models that revolutionized 20th century architecture - claims to be the largest airport terminal in the world. Cost of the operation: 15 billion euros! Using exclusive images, the film traces the construction of the airport over 5 years: from the virgin land to its inauguration.
