FLAVORS OF IRAQ

Flavors of Iraq is an animated documentary based on the story of Feurat Alani, a Franco-Iraqi journalist. Growing up in Paris, Feurat discovers his parents' country under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, the American occupation, and the control of the Islamic State between 1989 and 2017. The film follows Feurat's evolution from childhood to adulthood and his growing awareness of the social and political realities of Iraq.
