The Au-Pairs is one the most watched non-scripted shows on YLE’s VOD service Areena. Season 8, "Au-Pairs Ireland", tripled the goals set for 15-29yo on Areena, with 96% of the 15-29yo target group who viewed the first episode watching all 9 episodes
The show portrays the life of the au-pairs - partying, looking for love and coping with homesickness... Does life in the glamorous city fulfil their dreams and hopes, or does homesickness take over? And what is life really like for these young adults on the verge of becoming independent adults? It's "Mary Poppins" meets "Sex and the City". Yes, it's a bizarre smash-up, but so darn fantastic!
