One night, on a boat in the middle of the Mediterranean halfway between Spain and Africa, two tons of marijuana are stolen and a man goes missing. The incident lights a fuse-from Marbella to Paris by way of the mountains of northern Morocco-that could blow up the whole cannabis-trafficking trade, a full-fledged industry with farmers, chemists, shippers, brokers, wholesalers, retailers and, of course, customers. The show plunges us Sopranos-style into the daily dealings of the glamorous and sordid business of...Cannabis.
