Cops, courage and retribution in the New York City underworld. Calhoun is one of the toughest, most street-wise cops in New York and when a murderous gang of thieves knock over a string of chemical plants in the city he is called in to handle the job. Calhoun uncovers information that the thieves are collecting the makings for some very powerful explosives and their motive is extortion. He ends up face-to-face with the Bantam brothers who try to hide by crawling deeper underground. Calhoun hits the streets with a vengeance and every step brings him closer to his prey and to enough explosives to blow up half of New York City.
