The microcosm of Mühlheim, a Cologne district with an ever rising rate of crimes and social problems forms the perfect backdrop for a new ambitious team of investigators: The Cologne Police Department - an oddly assorted troop made up of male and female inspectors with entirely different professional and personal backgrounds.
