Beautiful nurse Philippine wins first prize in a competition: the vacation of a lifetime on a lush island paradise in the company of TV soap heartthrob Richard Leroy. Unfortunately, Richard's scheming producer Arnold turns up, intent on exploiting Philippine's sweet naivety to ensure some free tabloid publicity for the show. His plot backfires when Philippine and Richard witness a murder and find themselves on the run not only from the local police and the media but also from a gang of dangerous criminals.
