EXCLUSIVE SHOWCASE OF THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO IN THE EXCEPTIONAL PRESENCE OF BILLE AUGUST, SAM CLAFLIN AND JEREMY IRONS AT SERIES MANIA

Paris, March 13th - Mediawan Rights is thrilled to announce a special showcase event for the highly anticipated series THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO produced by PALOMAR (It aly), in collaboration with DEMD Productions (France), both Mediawan companies. The exclusive event will take place during the Series Mania Forum on March 19, from 5:00 PM at the Louis Pasteur auditorium, in the exceptional presence of the Oscar® winning director Bille August, the Golden Globes nominee actor Sam Claflin and the Oscar® winning actor Jeremy Irons.

This showcase is set to be a key moment during Series Mania, providing a glimpse into the exciting world of this exceptional series and offering a unique opportunity to see the first exclusive images of this outstanding show, for which post-production has just begun.

The event will feature distinguished guests: THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO director Bille August (EHRENGARD on Netflix, Palme d’Or winner for THE BEST INTENTIO NS, Oscar and Palme d’Or winner for PELLE THE CONQUEROR), Sam Claflin (Golden Globe nominee for DAISY JONES & THE SIX), Jeremy Irons (DEAD RINGERS, Oscar winner for REVERSAL OF FORTUNE, THE HOUSE OF THE SPIRITS, HOUSE OF GUCCI and WATCHMEN), Nicola Serra (CEO of Palomar - known for THE LIFE AHEAD, THAT DIRTY BLACK BAG, CA LL MY AGENT - ITALIA, and Valérie Vleeschhouwer (CEO of Mediawan Rights).

Bille August, acclaimed director and one of the creative minds behind the series, will share his vision and unique creative touch to bring this legendary masterpiece on screen. Sam Claflin and Jeremy Irons, talented actors known for their remarkable performances, will provide insights into their roles and the challenges of portraying the complex character of Edmond Dantes and the key role of Abbé Faria. Nicola Serra, from Palomar, renowned international series production company, will delveinto the project's inception and the challenges he had to overcome to see it flourish. 

This special event will be moderated by Rebecca Lefler from Screen International and promises to be an exceptional discussion on how Nicolas Serra, Bille August, Sam Claflin and Jeremy Irons have approached this iconic novel, written by Alexandre Dumas, known everywhere in the world.
